Because resin bound surfacing is fully porous, it meets this criteria automatically. Water drains through the driveway and into the earth, rather than running into the public highway drains.

You may need to consult your local council if:

• You live in a listed building or a designated conservation area with specific Article 4 directions restricting exterior changes.
• You are creating a new access point onto a classified road (A, B, or C road).
