Why we only use UV-stable resin
When choosing a colour, the aggregate is only half the story. The clear resin binder that holds it together is just as crucial.
Cheaper contractors often use 'aromatic' (non-UV stable) resin to keep their quotes low. In the shade, it looks fine. But under UV sunlight, aromatic resin turns a cloudy, sickly yellow. If you've chosen a beautiful silver-grey aggregate, a yellowing binder will turn your entire driveway an ugly brown-green colour within months.
We refuse to use aromatic resin on external surfaces. We exclusively use aliphatic, 100% UV-stable binder. When you choose a silver driveway from us, it stays silver.
