A Modern Alternative to Paving Slabs

For decades, natural stone slabs have been the default choice for patios. But slabs come with problems. Over time, the pointing fails, weeds grow between the cracks, and the slabs themselves can become loose and unstable.

A resin bound patio solves all these issues. It is laid as a single, continuous surface with no joints. The stone is bound tightly in a UV-stable resin, creating a flat, grippy surface that is perfect for garden furniture and summer entertaining.

Can we overlay existing patios?

If your existing patio is structurally sound, level, and well-bonded to its sub-base, we can often prime and overlay it with resin. This saves the cost and disruption of a full excavation.

However, if the slabs are loose or the ground is sinking, we will recommend lifting the slabs and installing a proper MOT Type 1 sub-base to ensure the resin has a solid foundation for the next 20 years.
