How long does installation take?

The duration depends on whether we are overlaying an existing surface or performing a full excavation.

The Overlay Timeline (1-2 Days)

Day 1: We arrive, clean the existing tarmac or concrete, perform minor repairs, install any necessary edge restraints or manhole covers, and apply the primer. We then mix and lay the resin. The driveway is finished by the afternoon.

Full Excavation Timeline (3-4 Days)

Day 1: Excavation of the old driveway, removal of spoil via grab lorry, laying the membrane and compacting the MOT sub-base.

Day 2: Installing edge restraints and laying the porous tarmac binder course. The tarmac must then be left to cure and degas.

Day 3 (or 4): Mixing, pouring, and hand-trowelling the final resin surface.
