Resin Driveways Surrey

Fixing Cracks and Repairs

While resin is incredibly strong, it is not indestructible. Heavy impacts (like a dropped skip) or extreme sub-base movement can cause damage.

Can it be patched?

Yes. Unlike concrete, which is nearly impossible to patch invisibly, resin bound surfacing can be repaired. The damaged area is carefully chiselled out to a neat geometric shape (a square or rectangle). We then mix a fresh batch of the exact same aggregate and trowel it into the hole.

Will the patch be visible?

Because we use UV-stable resin, the original driveway will not have faded. Therefore, the new patch will be an exact colour match. However, you may still see a faint outline where the old and new resin meet, much like a seam in wallpaper. Over a few months of weathering, this seam usually blends in.
