Resin Bound vs Resin Bonded
They sound similar, but they are entirely different systems.
Resin Bound (Our Recommendation)
The stone and resin are mixed together in a forced action mixer, then trowelled flat. It produces a smooth, fully permeable, incredibly durable surface with no loose stones. Ideal for domestic driveways.
Resin Bonded
A film of resin is spread on the ground, and loose stone is scattered over it. It is not permeable, stones will come loose over time, and the finish is very rough. We only recommend resin bonded for commercial applications where extreme grip is required.
