Double & Large Driveway Costs

A double driveway usually measures between 50m² and 80m². When installing resin bound surfacing on medium to large driveways, economies of scale begin to take effect, lowering the cost per square metre.

Economies of Scale

Because the fixed costs (travel, mixer setup, material delivery fees) are spread across a much larger area, the rate per square metre drops. Material suppliers also offer better rates for bulk orders of aggregate and resin.

Our installation teams work quickly and efficiently once the mix is flowing. Trowelling a 70m² driveway takes less than twice the time of trowelling a 35m² driveway. We can often complete a large double driveway overlay in a single day, or a full dig-out in 3-4 days.
